List of German Lotto Games
Lotto 6aus49
German Lotto 6aus49, or simply Lotto, is DLTB's flagship lottery. It features a 6/49 + 1/9 matrix, which means you simply pick 6 numbers from 1 to 49, plus an additional number called the Superzahl from 1 to 9, to enter a drawing. During the draw, 7 numbers are randomly chosen, and if you match them all, you win the jackpot!
Lotto is also a rollover lottery, so you can expect the minimum jackpot of €1 million to grow to much higher levels. There are 8 additional prize tiers you can win, though the odds of winning any prize are comparatively low. Still,
Lotto 6aus49 has drawings every Wednesday and Saturday evening. On Wednesdays, the draw is at 6:25 PM, while on Saturdays, draws take place at 7:25 PM.
Eurojackpot
Eurojackpot was initially launched in response to the popularity and success of EuroMillions. Today, however, it has established itself as a contender for the title of ‘Biggest European Lottery.'
A transnational lottery that is available in 17 countries and counting, Eurojackpot sets itself apart by offering better odds of winning. The game is designed to be easier to win, so while the jackpot does roll over like other big games, you won't see the same astounding sums of money that is typical at this level. Still, with a starting jackpot of €10 million that caps at €90 million, you won't see us complaining.
To play, just pick 5 numbers from 1 to 50, plus 2 bonus numbers from 1 to 10.
Eurojackpot has draws every Friday at approximately 8:00 PM.
GlücksSpirale
Translated to English as Lucky Spiral, Germany's GlücksSpirale differs itself from its counterparts in that it's the only German lottery to offer annuity prizes – or monthly installments, to be more accurate. The top prize is a choice between €10,000 per month for 20 years or a lump sum of €2.1 million.
GlücksSpirale has draws every Saturday at 8:00 PM.
Keno
Keno is also available in Germany. Their version is slightly different from most iterations. You choose between 2 to 10 numbers from 1 to 70. Every draw, 20 numbers are randomly picked and depending on how many numbers you played, and how many you match, you can win up to €1 million.
Keno has draws every day at 7:10 PM.
