Lottogroove Review

Overall Rating
2.3

Lottogroove doesn't stray far from the standard online lottery template, but its shortcomings outweigh its merits.

Lottogroove offers a decent selection of lottery games, which can be a good start for online lottery beginners. However, this online lotto betting site has some shortcomings that quickly add up.

The lack of multi-language options and the extremely narrow range of payment methods take away from the site's accessibility to a global audience. Meanwhile, beginners will be hard-pressed to find good lottery resources here.

Our quibbles with Lottogroove aren't deal-breakers. But there are enough of them to pull down our overall rating for this site. Lottogroove offers you a decent place to start, but there are better options out there.

General Information on Lottogroove

Launched in 2018, Lottogroove is an online lottery betting company that lets you wager on the outcomes of lotteries from different countries. It’s owned and operated by Kingsman N.V., a company licensed by the Curacao government.

What is Lottogroove?

Lottogroove is an online lotto betting site. You bet on the outcomes of their chosen lottery game, but you don’t buy actual tickets. This allows Lottogroove to keep ticket costs relatively low. However, your winnings will depend on whether Lottogroove successfully claims funds from the lottery operator or the third-party insurance provider covering each of Lottogroove’s offerings.

How does Lottogroove work?

As a lottery betting site, Lottogroove acts as a bookmaker for its users. When you play through Lottogroove’s site, you aren’t officially participating in your chosen lottery game. Instead, you’re placing a bet on the game’s outcome. Lottogroove uses financial hedging strategies such as taking out insurance policies to cover the outcomes and prize money for all the lottery games it offers.

You have two main options when it comes to playing:

  1. Solo play: You can buy up to 10 tickets in one go for your preferred draw.
  2. Group play: You can buy shares in a pre-bought batch of tickets.

Like many lottery sites, Lottogroove also lets you buy ahead for multiple draws.

Login and Signup

Lottogroove has a short registration process.

To create a Lottogroove account, you’ll need to provide your email address, full name, mobile phone number, and preferred password. Once registered, you can start playing by topping up your account. Note that Lottogroove uses euros for all transactions.

There’s also a login button found at the top of every page of the website.

Popular Lottery Games at Lottogroove

Lottogroove’s 16 lottery games work well for beginners.

Lottogroove offers 16 games, ranging from the big-shot Powerball and Mega Millions to smaller games like the Irish Lotto and El Gordo Primitiva, Spain’s Christmas draw.

There’s decent variety here for all kinds of players, but Lottogroove’s selection works best for beginners. Competitors like theLotter offer a dizzying array of games — but while experienced players might like having more options, new players can easily get overwhelmed. Lottogroove’s relatively smaller set of games covers the essentials without overloading newbies with choices.

Here are all the lotteries available for solo play at Lottogroove:

US Powerball US Mega Millions EuroJackpot EuroMillions
SuperEnaLotto El Gordo Primitiva Mega-Sena German Lotto
California SuperLotto Bono Lotto Irish Lotto Lotto 6/49
OZ Lotto Powerball Australia New Zealand Powerball Florida Lotto

Lottogroove lets you buy up to 10 tickets in one go. You can pick your own numbers or have the website’s random number generator fill in each ticket with a different set of numbers.

Powerball Lottogroove

Lottogroove is a great site for Powerball aficionados.

Lottogroove carries 3 different versions of the Powerball lottery. You can try your hand at the ever-popular US Powerball, which tends to offer massive jackpots. If you’d like to try a version of the Powerball with slightly more promising odds, though, Lottogroove offers two options: Powerball Australia and the New Zealand Powerball.

Both of these lotteries don’t quite offer the same blockbuster jackpots as the US Powerball, but their prizes are nothing to sneeze at, either. Whether you choose Powerball Australia or the New Zealand Powerball, there are still millions up for grabs.

Lottogroove Results

Lottogroove displays results for the 16 lotteries it offers.

Lottogroove reports up-to-date results for all 16 lottery games in its selection. You can check previous results through a convenient dropdown menu. Each results page carries a breakdown of winners per prize tier, too. Finally, you’ll get a handy countdown to the next draw.

Other Lottogroove Games and Syndicates

Lottogroove Scratch Cards

Lottogroove doesn’t offer games beyond the usual lotteries.

Lottogroove is pretty barebones as far as game options go. Unlike other lottery sites, Lottogroove doesn’t offer scratch cards or other instant-win game options.

Lottogroove Syndicate

You can play multiple lotteries for less with Lottogroove’s syndicated group play options.

Lottogroove offers group play options, but only for multiple lotteries at a time. (This means you can’t play in a syndicate for just one lottery.)

There are 6 packages in all:

Package Lotteries Lines Shares Price Per Share
Big USA US Powerball, US Mega Millions 60 170 €8/week
Euro Zone EuroMillions, EuroJackpot 60 170 €9/week
Atlantic Pack US Powerball, US Mega Millions, EuroMillions, EuroJackpot 237 500 €11/week
Kiwi Ozi Australia Powerball, OZ Lotto, New Zealand Powerball 50 170 €8/week
Hot Latin Mega-Sena, SuperEnaLotto, Bono Loto 22 170 €19/week
Daily Global New Zealand Powerball, BonoLoto, EuroMillions, US Mega Millions, US Powerball, EuroJackpot, Lotto 6/49 74 170 €7/week

You’re limited to Lottogroove’s pre-existing packages, which can be a tad inconvenient. However, Lottogroove’s packages do give you a good spread of lotteries with each share.

Most of the syndicates on offer have extremely reasonable prices per share, especially considering how many lotteries you can join with just one purchase. Lottogroove’s Daily Global package, in particular, is an affordable way to play in some of the world’s biggest lotteries.

Lottogroove Review of Security, Trust, and Scams

Is Lottogroove a scam?

No, Lottogroove isn’t a scam. While it’s a relatively new website, it’s backed and operated by a legitimate company called Kingsman N.V., which holds a registered license from Curacao’s gambling commission.

Is Lottogroove legit?

Yes, Lottogroove is operated by a real company called Kingsman N.V. The company holds a gambling license from the Curacao government.

Is Lottogroove safe?

You bet. Lottogroove secures all information and transactions on its website using a 128-bit VeriSign SSL certificate. The company also claims to use active firewalls to safeguard its secure database network.

Is Lottogroove a real or fake company?

Lottogroove is owned and operated by a real company called Kingsman N.V., which is duly registered and licensed by the Curacao government’s gambling commission.

Who owns Lottogroove?

The Curacao-based gambling company Kingsman N.V. owns Lottogroove.

How does Lottogroove make money?

Lottogroove doesn’t take cuts from players’ winnings. Instead, it earns money through handling fees imposed on its ticket prices. To fund big prize payouts, Lottogroove either collects directly from the lottery operator (if Lottogroove bought actual tickets for the draw) or files a claim with its third-party insurance providers.

Is Lottogroove legal?

Lottogroove is definitely legal. It carries an up-to-date gaming license from the government of Curacao, meaning the website is subject to official regulations.

Definitely. Lottogroove’s Curacao license means it adheres to established gambling laws and undergoes regular evaluations to check compliance. Lottogroove’s 128-bit SSL encryption isn’t the strongest available (many lottery sites use bank-grade 256-bit SSL), but it still offers good protection for all information transmitted through the Lottogroove website — including your personal details.

Lottogroove Review on Payouts, Withdrawals, and Winners

Lottogroove Payout Rules

Lottogroove credits payments to your account, but you might need to claim jackpots in person.

Lottogroove’s lotto betting model means it generally doesn’t depend on the lottery operator for prize money. You can expect to get the winnings credited directly to your account.

However, Lottogroove tends to take more time to disburse payments compared to other lottery websites we’ve reviewed. Prizes up to €50,000 euros can take up to 30 days to be credited to your account, for example. Anything larger than that can take longer, depending on how long it takes Lottogroove to file a sucessful claim with its insurance providers.

Depending on the lottery, Lottogroove might require you to appear in person to claim prize money from the lottery operator. You are never an official participant in the lottery games, but for bigger jackpots, Lottogroove buys actual tickets. In these cases, you’ll get the physical ticket and any monetary support you’ll need to claim the prize.

Lottogroove Payment and Withdrawal Methods

Lottogroove only supports 3 payment methods.

Unfortunately, Lottogroove has the most limited range of payment methods we’ve seen for a lottery site. You can only fund your account using Visa, MasterCard, or bank transfer.

Bank transfers can take 2-3 days to be processed, so don’t choose this if you want to start playing quickly.

How to withdraw money from Lottogroove

You can withdraw your winnings by filing a withdrawal request with Lottogroove. Unfortunately, Lottogroove can take 2-5 days to process the request, plus another 15 days before the money actually gets credited to your bank account or credit card.

You’ll have to shoulder all required transaction fees, and Lottogroove sets a minimum withdrawal amount of €50.

Has anyone won on Lottogroove?

Lottogroove doesn’t offer any information on previous winners or payouts.

Lottogroove Review of Mobile Options

Lottogroove doesn’t have a dedicated app, but the website is mobile-responsive.

Lottogroove’s website is mobile-responsive, meaning it automatically adapts to your mobile device’s screens. You can still log in, place bets, and view results through your phone without any fuss.

However, Lottogroove doesn’t offer a dedicated app. If you’re looking for a user experience tailored specifically to your iOS or Android device, you won’t find that here.

Customer Support at Lottogroove

Lottogroove offers a full set of customer support channels.

Lottogroove has a relatively long FAQ section that covers most of the common problems you might encounter while using the site. If you’re new and you encounter any issues, there’s enough information here to help you find a DIY solution.

If you do need more direct assistance, Lottogroove gives you several ways to contact them. You can create a ticket by sending your concern through their contact form. You can also email them directly or call them up to get live support:

Lottogroove email address: [email protected]

Lottogroove phone number: +44 208 089 3812

Phone lines are open from 7AM to 4PM GMT.

If you’d prefer to ditch the phone, you can still get quick answers via Lottogroove’s live chat channel. Based on experience, though, their support staff can take a few minutes to reply. This shouldn’t be much of an issue, but we saw delays even for basic questions.

Our Experience with Lottogroove

Lottogroove Website

Lottogroove delivers easy navigation but lacks multi-language options.

Lottogroove is pretty standard as far as online lottery websites go. You immediately get information about upcoming lottery draws when you reach Lottogroove’s homepage. There are even handy “Play Now” buttons that let you place bets instantly. Lottery results, meanwhile, are easily accessible from the homepage or the fixed navigation bar on top of every page.

There’s a lot of information at first glance. But Lottogroove divides its homepage into sections like upcoming draws and group play options, so the information never gets overwhelming.

Unfortunately, Lottogroove doesn’t let you switch between languages. If you’re not that confident in your English, you might struggle with using the site, especially if you’re an absolute beginner.

Lottogroove Playing Experience

You won’t have any problems placing bets on the Lottogroove website. You’ll find quick-buy options scattered throughout the site, so you can jump quickly to your preferred lottery.

Lottogroove’s purchase page uses the same template you’ll find on other lottery websites: you select numbers or opt for random numbers, and you can buy tickets for multiple draws if you’d like.

Lottogroove sends out email notifications of any wins, which is a big plus. You won’t miss any lucky strikes here.

Another convenient touch: Lottogroove still disburses syndicates’ prize money according to your shares, even if not all the shares in your batch of tickets were sold. This way, you don’t have to worry about getting enough fellow players for your syndicate group.

Final Thoughts on Lottogroove

Lottogroove is alright for beginners, but there are better options available.

Lottogroove strikes a balance between variety and manageability with its selection of lottery games, making it a good first stop if you’re a beginner.

However, Lottogroove lacks a few crucial features, like support for more languages or payment methods. If you do start here, you’ll outgrow Lottogroove quickly.
